Introduction The Fire Manager Certificate is awarded to candidates who have successfully completed the NEBOSH Cert in Fire Safety and Risk Management and this Conversion Course. Vulcan has included in its fire portfolio a cost effective conversion course for holders of the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management to achieve a professional Fire Technician qualification with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and/or The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
Those who have a Fire Technician qualification are able to gain a higher level professional fire safety qualifiation by attending this 5 Day course and producing a 10,000 word project within six months of the training. The course is practical, working on drawings and using computer software on laptops as well as multi-media presentations.
Introduction: Managing Fire Safety (4 days) leading to Fire Technician Qualification. Current fire safety legislation requires a risk based regime in organisations with a nominated competent person overseeing fire safety management responsibilities.
