Located in the centre of Hampstead, London, The Hampstead Butcher & Providore is a neighbourhood Butcher, Delicatessen, Charcuterie and Wine Merchant in NW3.
Our butchers offer traditional meat cuts, a wide rage of free-range chickens and poultry from British free-range farms in addition to game when in season. Our fresh meat is British, free range, ethically reared and traceable from our farms.
Our student guests work with our butchers around the central block in the shop, each from their own station. All meat worked on for the evening will be yours to take home along with recipes and a bottle of wine from our wine shop to match the meat.
You will prepare a Rack of Lamb, a Banham chicken, Blade Steak & a Loin of Pork.
Spaces are limited to 8 per session and the cost per person is £115.
This is an excellent evening and can be given as a gift or organised for a group of friends or colleagues.
All students are provided with a butcher's coat, chain mail glove, appropriate knives and equipment.

Our butcher classes are excellent evenings and can be given as a gift or organised for a group of friends or colleagues. Our guest butchers prepare Oxtail, Pork Belly, Banham Chicken & Loin of Lamb, all under the guidance of our Senior Butcher, Freddy.
Using free-range English Pork, our students will spend 1 ½ hours under the guidance of our expert sausage maker, Freddy, learning this most traditional of Butchery skills including preparation of the pork and your sausage mix and then stuffing & linking your sausages. You’ll be able to choose your own sausage recipe from the ingredients that we use daily in the shop and then take home approximately 6kg of your own sausages, for freezing, chiiling or cooking! The price is £95 per person and we limit this class to 2 guests at any time.
