This inservice teaching qualification provides you with the opportunity to meet the government standards for teaching in the Education and Training sector (Post Compulsory) and to work towards gaining Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status. During the programme you will examine theories of teaching, learning and assessment and evaluate their appropriateness and validity through their application to your work situation.
The course introduces students to higher level accounting tasks, such as drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance; students specialise in areas from tax to auditing and credit control.
Students will gain an understanding of different types of meetings and their purposes as well as how to effectively prepare for a meeting. Furthermore, they will develop their own performance in managing meetings and be able to follow up and effectively manage actions from meetings.
This qualification is for aspiring health and safety professionals, building directly upon the foundation of knowledge provided by the NEBOSH National General Certificate. It is designed to provide students with the expertise required to undertake a career as a safety and health practitioner and also provides a sound basis for progression to postgraduate study.
Students will gain further understanding of effective leadership and assess their own leadership styles with a purpose of developing leadership styles. Students will also gain understanding of the implications of own leadership styles for self and for leadership within own organisation.
During the course students will examine a range of areas and disciplines that focus upon a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary understanding of children, families, policy and practice. This course offers a holistic approach to understanding early childhood, relating appropriate theory to practice.
