The course covers the core management areas of operational planning, motivation theory, setting SMART objectives, monitoring results, team meetings, appraisals and regular reviews, managing poor performance and supporting individuals to get back on track. The course will result in learners achieving two certficated units of the Level 3 NVQ in Management: Unit D5 Plan, allocate and monitor the work of a team Unit D13 Support individuals to develop and take responsibility for their performance On completion learners will have the option to complete the rest of the NVQ at a discounted rate with funding via an Adult Learning Loan (for ages 24+).
