Sahar Freemantle has been designing and making hats for 7 years, and is based in London. With a background in costume design, Sahar works with costume and fashion designers, making hats for TV and stage, which has included Downton Abbey and Katy Perry. She also does bespoke creations for women going to summer events such as weddings and Ascot. Sahar has two millinery labels: Sahar Millinery and UglyLovely. Each hat is hand crafted and designed to flatter the wearer. Both brands use traditional millinery techniques, and whereas Sahar Millinery is concerned with bringing about timeless vintage style elegance, UglyLovely is more macabre and theatrical.
