The Rhubarb & Custard School of Photography is a mecca for photographers wanting to progress and improve their photographic skills. Photography courses, private lessons and workshops covering all aspect of photography, helping the very beginner with advice on purchasing equipment to the more technical aspects of the workings of your DSLR, the artistic side of composition and creating IMPACT in your photos, de-mystifying the realms of Exposure, right through to the most advanced techniques of the traditional darkroom are all covered.

The gallery features the work of photographer Halid K. Izzet, whose portfolio consists of a collection of photographs taken in over 30 countries over the past 9 years. As a student with us, you'll also be invited to submit your photos for our annual Student Exhibition ! So now you really do have something to aim for !!
We also have a "Themed Exhibition" every 2 months that anyone is able to submit their photos into and show off their work, as well as a monthly "Visiting Photographer" Exhibition - one photographer displaying their work in depth. Photographers with different, unusual techniques and approaches are encouraged and we aim to celebrate the vast range of styles and subject matter in the world of photography. Each guest photographer's exhibition lasts from the 1st to the last day of each month. So there's always something new and interesting to see on each of your visits.
We try to build a real sense of community within our student photographers who come back time and time again to see oour new exhibitions and take part in out ongoing workshops.

This course is ideal for an entry level to digital photography. For people who are keen to develop their photography skills and learn more about the use of their digital camera, its settings and functions.

This specialist workshop is aimed at intermediate to advanced photographers and looks at Studio photography in real depth. We cover portraits using On Camera Flash as well as Studio Lights, reflectors, snoots, soft boxed and beauty lights.
