Cognitive Behavioural Practice PGCert

The aim of the Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Practice is to increase understanding of mental illness and train students in basic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy concepts, methods and skills. The purpose is to train practitioners in mental health programmes including primary care, to apply Cognitive Behavioural Therapy models at levels 1 and 2 within a stepped care model (low intensity psychological interventions).

Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice PgCert

The PgCert in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice is designed to help students to acquire and demonstrate the advanced-level competencies defined in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Advanced Pharmacy Framework, through a rigorous programme of study that provides students with the knowledge and skills required to: review and incorporate current evidence into practice; work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment; make decisions in complex clinical situations; communicate effectively with patients who have common long-term medical conditions; undertake clinical and practice-based research. The PGCE programme aims to develop students' competence and confidence in the teaching of their chosen subject specialism and in the general professional role of the teacher.
