Penelope Roskell is a dedicated, inspiring teacher, as well as an acclaimed international concert pianist. She is Professor of Piano at Trinity College of Music (link and she also holds regular courses in London, including the Advanced Piano Courses, Piano Performance Workshops, workshops on teaching piano technique for piano teachers, and the Stoke Newington adult amateur piano group. She is also available for private lessons.
In addition to her work at Trinity, Penelope has also taught regular classes for postgraduates at the Royal Academy of Music. She frequently gives masterclasses and lectures at conferences, conservatoires and summer schools, including Dartington International Summer School and Chethams International Summer School for pianists.
She has a broad interest in a very wide range of repertoire, including contemporary. At Trinity, in addition to her piano teaching, she is involved in examining and auditioning and runs a regular class on piano pedagogy. From 2000 to 2002 she was also Director of the EPTA Piano Pedagogy Course.

Taking place over three days, the advanced course focuses on repertoire, technique, and yoga for pianists, and is ideal for pianists preparing for concerts, competitions, diplomas or auditions, or for anyone suffering from technical problems, physical tension, injuries or nerves.
