Our highly qualified instructors have over thirty years training experience, holding both formal teaching and First Aid qualifications. We use our knowledge and skills to ensure that the training you receive is within current guidelines, informative and also enjoyable. Our courses are CPD certified and meet the recommendations and guidelines set by the HSE, the UK Resuscitation Council and the ERC.
In addition to running courses in local venues around Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and the surrounding areas, we can also deliver courses at your premises, at times convenient to you, tailoring the content to suit the working environment and specific needs identified from your risk assessment analysis.
We offer a selection of courses suitable for individuals, groups, schools and the business sector. Assessment of learning is ongoing throughout the course and candidates will carry out verbal, written and practical activities to demonstrate their learning and understanding. Our students are also given the option to subscribe to weekly video skill updates, allowing them to keep skills fresh.

It is a classroom based course with six contact hours and is delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981. The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and comes with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a Certificate which is valid for three years.
This comprehensive course covers emergency first aid and additional illness management enabling the participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence. Topics covered include: DRAB, CPR, treating a breathing or non-breathing casualty, choking, burns and scalds, serious bleeds, head injuries, broken bones, electrical injuries, heart attack, stroke, seizures, diabetes, asthma, anaphylaxis (also additional content not listed).
This course is part online and part classroom. The online unit must be completed before attending the classroom based day.
