Unit 1; Anatomy and physiology for sports massage looks at the structure and function of all major body systems and the locations and actions of the primary and supporting muscles of the spine, shoulder, hips, knees, ankles, feet and elbows, wrists and hands. Unit 2; Principles of health and fitness explores the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and the effect of exercise on the body's systems.
This course is delivered in modules, allowing you to build your qualification over time. Each module is supported by a pre-learning pack, introducing the module content and guiding you through some simple revision activities to enhance your learning experience for when you attend your workshop.
