This course gives students the opportunity to build both their managerial and care skills, allowing them to help more people. It also fulfils the regulatory requirement for those looking to become managers of children's homes or adult residential and domiciliary services.
Providing advice and guidance is a complex and challenging role that requires the student to have the necessary skills to promote effective working practices; if the student works in a frontline role that requires them to provide information, advice and/or guidance, the NVQs have been designed to give the student a work-based qualification linked to their role.
This course develops a comprehensive range of basic middle management skills, assisting participants in gaining the knowledge required at this level; a high level of flexibility allows individuals or their employers to custom build a qualification that focuses on the key areas most relevant to their role, industry or organisation; students must complete compulsory and option units to the total value of 45 credits.
