Cooking is an essential part of what we offer at Greenwich Pantry.
As well as selling great ingredients in our on line store and pop up stores, we run cookery classes to share the joys of cooking eating and having fun with food in a social setting and we pledge to help you put the fun back into shopping, cooking and connecting with your food.
At Greenwich Pantry each cookery session has its character and characters. Curious, lively people who love cooking, eating, making good conversation at the table - our kind of people.
Chopping, slicing, mixing, and sometimes crafting through the chitter chatter. Cooking over colourful vegetables, a comforting backdrop as participants learn to make homely, heartwarming dishes.
We debate the vices and virtues of cooking from scratch with fresh ingredients or buying ready meals to save time and money. Around the table, there's lots to talk about.
We don't quite get to put the world at ease about its food conundrums because as the aroma and smells of food hits home, tastebuds are prepped and rhythmic munching takes over.
With stomachs filled, everyone leaves satisfied but of course, someone gets the washing up:-)
