We are a local, independent wine education company which specialises in hosting wine tastings, wine courses and corporate events in Glasgow and Carlisle.
We run a variety of courses which are open to everyone and anyone and focus on all levels of wine understanding; no previous wine tasting experience is necessary! There are a range of courses available on an ongoing basis, focusing on enjoying wine and learning about wine in a relaxed and informal setting.
Glasgow Wine School is an independent wine education company, not affiliated to any wine merchants or retailers. We do not sell wine, we run Wine Tastings and Wine Courses in Glasgow and Carlisle for anyone who enjoys wine and would like to learn more about it. All the wines we taste are available from local wine merchants, and we will give the details and prices of each wine at the tasting for you to purchase if you would like to do so.

WORLD OF WINE - Australia & New Zealand Australia is home to varied and very different wine-making regions. From the hot Barossa Valley which produces rich, chocolatey and peppery Barossa Shiraz to the cooler Margaret River which produces elegant Cabernets and Sauvignon Blancs.

On this red wine tasting we'll explore some of these classic wines alongside some new up and coming wine styles from lesser known regions and grapes.

Grapes like Falanghina, Fiano, Greco, Vermentino and Verdicchio to name a few, don’t help the cause!
