Elite Training, Assessing and Development CIC is a non-profit organisation founded in September 2012 to meet the employment needs of the youth and people in the community (North West of England) and bridge the gap in employability skills, in response to the demands of a changing workforce. We endeavour to be widely recognised as a leading provider of high quality Employability Skills, Apprenticeships and Vocational training and workforce development service. Elite Assessing, Training & Development aims to promote, develop and provide quality training. In 2013 Elite Training were finalists in the Wigan Business Awards in the Business Start Up Category and now have branches in Wolverhampton and London.

This includes Work Skills and Functional Skills. We also run a job club, a member of the GMCVO and CVS. In addition, we offer free online computer courses for people who need help with IT. Our whole culture is around helping people. This also doesn’t stop once they have finished their courses with us. We offer aftercare, we help people to complete their application forms and search for jobs, complete their SIA Badge application forms and we organise visits from local employers. All our training staff are fully qualified teachers with lots of experience in education.
Our strengths are definitely our links and strong network with the local businesses, national businesses, community and other community organisations. Also being in Wigan in the North West we have a strong history and working class values which we are very proud to uphold.

This course is for people who are interested in training to teach literacy, numeracy or ESOL and would like to develop their skills and knowledge of the subject, before starting a teacher training course. Blended learning, combination of online provision via Learning Management System (Moodle), backed up by live online classes via WizIQ portal .
These qualifications replace the A1 and A2 qualifications. They are part of the new suite of qualifications for assessors, internal quality assurers (IQA) and external quality assurers (EQA).
The Pearson BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training prepares trainee teachers and traineres to teach in a wide range of contexts. To achieve the qualification, there is a requirement for teaching practice that requires observation and assessment of performance.
This is an introductory teaching qualification. Achieving this award will provide sufficient evidence that the learner has acquired the sufficient skills and knowledge to prepare, plan, deliver and evaluate basic teaching and learning sessions.
