HABC Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry (Scotland) at SCQF Level 6 Under the Private Security Industry Authority Act 2001, all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry must undertake a recognised qualification before applying for a licence. The HABC Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry (Scotland) at SCQF Level 6 has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

HABC Award for Upskilling a Door Supervisor working within the Private Security Industry (Scotland) at SCQF Level 6
Audience aimed at: Corporate training only

In March 2012 the SIA announced the intention to require existing door supervisors who had achieved the pre-QCF Door Supervision qualification (for example the National Certificate for Door Supervision (Scotland)) to undertake additional training in order to renew their licence. HABC have been involved in discussions with the SIA to develop a new qualification that will meet these new requirements for SIA Door Supervisor licence renewals.
