Chris has established himself as one of the UK's leading comedy coaches and has fifteen years experience as a director of live comedy. Practically every night of the week there is a comedian on stage somewhere putting his ideas, direction and training into practice. Chris' directing work has been seen in London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and more. Chris directed, script-edited and/or consulted on nine shows for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012. Alongside his core comedy work, he has developed a unique training programme to apply his methods in public speaking contexts. Clients have included BNP Paribas, Channel 4, Google and advertising agencies Lida and BBH. His coaching style is analytical, clear, warm and inspiring – and highly practical.

This course is for gigging acts and course graduates. Practical MC and crowd work course in the West End, London with one of the UK's most highly regarded compères, manager and act booker Geoff Whiting and leading stand-up coach and director Chris Head.
If you are working on a sitcom, this course will give your script and treatment a comprehensive punching up and you will also leave with tools and insights for future sitcom writing. If your piece is at a very early stage (even just the initial ideas stage) this course will clarify how to take it forward.
