Our five day STCW Basic Safety Training package provides all those attending with the practical skills and knowledge to comply with the mandatory requirements of the four modules of STCW Basic Training. Colossal delivers the four elements of STCW Basic Safety Training as a one week course in Blackpool, UK.
This qualification is ideal for those already working, or preparing to work, within industry who wish to become a First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Our courses provide a quality learning experience offering hands-on practical training skills that leave first aiders feeling confident to use their skills in a real life situation.

This is a statutory, one-day course to give seafarers the essentials education and training in Personal Survival Techniques. This course aims to provide seafarers with the basic knowledge of immediate first aid action to be taken upon encountering an accident or other medical emergency on board ship. On successful completion of the course you will be awarded an Elementary First Aid certificate, accredited by the MCA (Maritime Coastguard Agency).
The IOSH Managing Safely certificate course aims to ensure that health and safety requirements are appreciated by people employed as line managers, and to enable them to review their own departmental systems for safety, introduce new controls or implement changes as appropriate to ensure health and safety in the workplace. IOSH Managing Safely courses are aimed at managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation who are required to manage risk and resources within their organisation.
