How to apply
It's easy to book your place on a City Lit course. You can add as many courses to your basket as you like, so you can now buy more than one course at a time.
Many City Lit courses fill up quickly, so try and book early to avoid disappointment. If the course you are trying to book is full, you can add yourself to a waiting list - this option is available on most of our courses.
Browse our courses, or enter a keyword for a subject in the search box at the top of any page.
We offer courses at a range of prices and try to make them as affordable as possible. Government funding for many of our courses means we are able to offer them at half the price they would be otherwise.
We also offer senior and concessionary fees on many courses.
Our advice team has specialist staff who are qualified to give careers advice. We are able to provide careers advice to deaf students with the aid of City Lit's Interpreting service.
Our careers service is free for City Lit students and the general public.
The service can help you decide on a career direction, develop a CV, find out about funding to support your learning, improve your interview skills and help you find learning that is right for you.
You can arrange an appointment by calling us on 020 7492 2500.
Martin - "I'm now a full time photographer, thanks to City Lit"
"I only wanted to learn how to use my camera, but I discovered a new passion in the creative arts which I never realised I had.
At City Lit I discovered pretty soon that this was what I wanted to do as a career. I went on to do lots of photography courses such as photographing people, studio lighting, Photoshop and more.
I've had lots of fun, and met loads of cool people. When I have a camera in my hand, I view the world differently and have discovered a part of me that I never realised I had inside."
