He has completed a time served apprenticeship where he was taught all aspects of plastering from traditional techniques to the more modern techniques taught today. The Level 1 Motor Vehicle Maintenance is designed to give a foundation approach to qualifications and prepare learners to enter the industry in Motor Vehicle. This qualification could also be used as an ‘interest’ course for a wide range of learners.
This Level 1 Diploma in Plastering includes Work Experience and Maths & English were applicable. The Level 1 Diploma in Plastering is designed to prepare you to enter the Construction industry.
The level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying is designed to prepare learners to enter the industry in their chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a training enviroment using simulated conditions, amd the tests are based on the learner demonstrating their knowledge and skills through the completion of all requirements of the qualification.
This course is fully funded for 16-18yrs and those who are 19+ and unemployed (ie JSA,ESA,Income Support). The Level 2 Diploma in Plastering is designed to further develop the skills and knowledge, enabling you to work in the industry in your chosen craft.
The Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying is designed to develop the skills and knowlegde of learners, enabling them to work in their chosen craft. It has been specifically developed for delivery in a trianing enviroment using simulated conditions, and the tests are based on the learner showing what they can do as an individual through the completion of all the requirements of the qualification.
This qualification is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in construction. Successful completion of this qualification will enable learners to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card which allows access to construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker.
The Level 3 NVQ in Plastering has been developed for delivery in a working environment, this means you need to be employed to study this qualification. it has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work in brick within the construction industry.
