Located in the heart of West Hampstead, in a beautiful 19th Century Warehouse under the patronage of Kingsgate Workshops Trust, the Ceramics Sculpture Studio is dedicated to everyone who shares a passion for clay and ceramics, both professionals and beginners are welcome.

An exciting opportunity for those wishing to work with clay without an inner armature structure. This course aims to introduce to both beginners and more advanced students the wonders of using clay as a sculptural material giving a chance to explore a range of hand building techniques in order to create a larger scale sculpture.
This is a pottery foundation course suitable for beginners. The course will introduce you to basic hand building techniques of pinching, coiling and slab building.
Suitable for all levels and abilities, from students who are fairly new to ceramics as well as more experienced students wishing to develop their skills. A variety of hand-building techniques will be covered including pinch pots, coiling, slab building, working with press-moulds and modelling.
