We run Wine Tastings and Wine Courses in Cambridge for people who enjoy wine and would like to learn more about it. No previous wine tasting experience is necessary.

Cheese is often considered the perfect partner to wine, but it's not always that easy. Often white wine works just as well as red and you can find out why when we taste 7 wines matching them with seven top quality cheeses from around the world! We'll look at 7 cheese styles from top local delicatessen The Cambridge Cheese Company: goat's cheese, salty cheddar, melting brie styles, crumbly wensleydale, blue cheese, manchego and smoked cheddar.
This fascinating course is a great introduction to wine comparing the classic wine regions of France directly with the best the New World can offer using the same grapes! Learn all the basics about the different grape varieties and how to taste wine like a professional! We will compare Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah/Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and more from the best locations and producers from France and the New World.

This exciting and structured course is the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award (formerly known as the Intermediate Certificate). You do not have to first complete Level 1 - you can jump in straight at this level (Level 2) if you like.

It's time to take a closer look at Iberian wine-making! There are so many changes going on in Spain and Portugal, these two countries have increasingly grabbed attention in the wine world. There is more to Portugal than just Port! The cool areas on the north-west coast produce some intriguing white wines, while in the Douro Valley they have been exploiting the Port grapes to make robust, ripe, chocolatey table wines - often some of Europe's best value reds! And in the south we find Ribetajo, Alentejo and the Algarve (where Cliff Richard has a winery!), all capable of producing interesting and complex wines.
