This 5 day VTCT Indian Head Massage is completed over 2 weekends and two half days, and is an ideal introduction for anyone wishing to become a complementary therapist. The course contains the following modules: History of Indian Head Massage, Indian Head Massage Techniques, Benefits of Indian Head Massage, Contraindications, Where and how to deliver, Balancing Chakras, A&P recap of the head, neck, shoulders and upper arms, Use of oils, Setting up your work area, Health and safety, Indian Head Massage Routine.
This course covers all aspects of reflexology's history, reflexology theory and the anatomy and physiology required for a reflexologist to give individual treatments. Students are taught how to treat their clients holistically, taking into account any illness or stress they are suffering from.
As well as understanding a little of the history of this relaxing therapy, you will learn a simple reflexology routine that you will be able to practice on your family and friends. This two day course takes place at the Hilldene Centre in West End and costs £130.
This is a new course in Aromatherapy because massage is now included - you can start this course in January and be qualified with clients by July 2013. Previously these have been separate courses so it will have taken you two years to become qualified.
