The course is nationally accredited, and directed at anyone involved in the design, construction and inspection and testing of electrical systems for electrically competent candidates and installers who have to comply with BS 7671: 2008 for example, selecting sizes of cable or types of fuses and circuit breakers. The course is to ensure an understanding of the scope and effect that the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations implement, along with a brief overview of the Electricity at Work Regulations covering their statutory duties, which is used as a standard against which all electrical installations must comply.
