I have been working as a professional photographer for more than 15 years, and during that time I have been fortunate enough to assist Turner Prize winner Jurgen Teller, Julia Hember and Rob Scott at Future publishing in Bath.Having combined both cooking with photography I have also worked with Chef Michelle Roux and at the top vegetarian restaurant Terre A Terre where we received our second rosette during my time there.

While allowing the students to use the studio, they will learn the basics of studio close up, portrait and set design, location flash for portrait photography and advanced technical skills including shutter speed and advanced exposure techniques.
You will learn all about different studio photography from class up to portrait shots. You will use bracketing techniques and different backgrounds to manipulate your images and create interesting sets where you will work with interesting objects, food and models.
You will gain an invaluable understanding of the food photography industry. Through seminars, professional practice and the development of lighting techniques you will prepare to complete a photographic brief on a location of your choosing.
