Tapestry Weaving for beginners Jane's Art

Tapestry weaving is a traditional hand craft, conducted on a wooden frame and used to make pictures, wall hangings and cushion covers. The picture is made by weaving the wool in and out - and of course there are numerous tips and techniques that will be taught on this course!  Beginners are welcomed, as are those who would simply like to extend their knowledge with an experienced tutor (and enjoy the friendly group atmosphere!) Often the course days are themed; focusing on ‘faces’, ‘landscapes’, 'seascapes', and a variety of thing including Christmas Shapes.
