This course is designed to fully equip you for the world of the make-up. You will complete six units in a range of skills.
This course will build on your skills and passion for makeup, by teaching you how to provide character make-up techniques, remove special effects, media and make-up. You will study health and safety associated with anatomy and physiology, practical skills for make-up, Functional Skills in maths and English.

The content of this qualification is comprised of all the required elements to enable you to workeffectively as a make-up artist including airbrush make-up for the face, camouflage make-up, fashion and photographic make-up and media make-up.

This is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level through a variety of techniques in the following units: media, fashion, photographic, special effects and camouflage make-up, creation and application of prosthetics and prostiche and how to apply the complex skill of airbrushing. To further enhance your skills and increase your employability opportunities, you will also have the opportunity to cover the following additional units in casting of bald caps and creative styling and dressing of hair.
