- I have been going into the classroom as a volunteer for the last three years, and decided to do my NVQ2 to become a qualified Teaching assisitant. the course has taught me so much about the job. I believe you could easily start this course as an absolute beginner as the level of support that you get from the tutors is second to none. My course had a slightly rocky start as my tutor was very poorly for a week or two but after that it went full steam ahead and both Amelia( doing the assessments) and Rosie(delivering the knowledge) were like a breath of fresh air. I am now waiting for my portfolio to come back from the verifiers, hopefully closely followed by a lovely certificate.
- Student facilities *****
- The building at Adult learning and leisure in Frome is modern, airy and the facilities are great. There are several PC's that you are able to use whenever they are free. The photcopier is a very handy piece of equipment also especially when you work out how to use it.
- Social life *****
- I loved going into my course every week, there was always a lot of banter going to and fro, it was a brilliant atmosphere to work in. I had quite a varied range of people in my class, ages ranging from around fifty. We are meeting up outside of the class tomorrow for dinner and a few drinks to celibrate our success hopefully.

- I have recently completed a Teaching Assistant course with Stonebridge Associated Colleges. My experience with the College was great. I received fantastic tutor support throughout the duration of my course, and furthermore the admin staff went completely out of their way to assist me with any queries that I had. I really did not have an experience like any of these people below, however I am sure that these are isolated cases. I am aware that the College welcome thousands of new students a month, and from what I could see on the forums and the other students I spoke to 99.999% of them received the same excellent level of service as I did. If you are thinking of Studying with Stonebridge I would strongly urge you to do so, as I have studied with a few other providers in my time (no names mentioned!) and have never received anywhere near the level of professionalism and quality course materials as I did with Stonebridge. Thank you Stonebridge, you have opened a whole new set of doors for me. Joanne

- This course was really relevnt if you want to help out in a school. It seemed mind boggling to start with, paperwork everywhere but then something just clicks and it all falls into place. The tutors in my area were great and the internet websites they recommend to help were ideal. Do not be put off by the paperwork.
- Student facilities ****
- I did this course in my local high school, so it was just a normal classroom with about 12 of us and the tutor, it was really relaxed and easy going.
- Social life *****
- The other students on the course were all about my age, that is 36 and we got on really well and happily helped each other out and helped with resources. It was a real social network.

- Attended taught session once a month ans a small group tutorial once a month. The course was very time consuming but also interesting. My course tutor should have been given more time for marking assignments and lesson observations.
- Student facilities ****
- Leamington site of Warwickshire college is clean and modern with good canteen facilities. I am based at the Rugby site, which is not as good. I had to travel from work at the Rugby site over to Leamington twice a month as this course is not held at Rugby.
- Social life ****
- I found travelling to Leamington after working all day very tiring. The other students were brilliant, very supportive. I have made new friends and got to know work colleagues I would not have met otherwise.
