- This course gave me all the skills needed to prepare and deliver training, it helped me set clear course objectives and deliver training that really involves the trainees and ensures they gain new skills and knowledge. Along the way I found out how I liked to learn - this had a major effect on the way I delivered training. The instructors were enlivening, inspiring and motivating, giving us simple usable skills, and making the training room a really fun and expanding place to be. Most of all, I built confidence; the confidence to know that whatever is thrown at you, you will be able to make it work. Above all, I found the course style was both relaxed and enjoyable.

- An atmosphere conducive to learning it was a joy not a chore; class sizes were small enough for you to be treated as an individual.

- Wow what a course, having been involved in training for a number of years I thought I pretty much knew everything, how wrong I was. The trainer?s enthusiasm to learning motivated, inspired, and challenged me to learn. What I also gained from the trainers was that nobody can no everything, and part of being a good instructor is self development, this has stimulated my desire for further learning and to pass on my new found skills to future students.
- Student facilities *****
- The price for the course seemed initially high; however having now finished the course it seems incredibly cheap. The hotel was absolutely fantastic, the room was superb, the leisure facilities were second to none and the food gosh I?m sure I put half a stone on!!! The facilities for teaching provided by Technica were everything I would imagine a modern forward thinking organisation would provide and more.
- Social life *****
- Having not sat in a classroom for a number of years I was slightly apprehensive, but the trainers humour and relaxed attitude made it a joy and I looked forward to the next day. Part of the course involved my lesson being filmed so the trainers could provide me with feedback and I must congratulate the trainers on the professional way the constructive feedback was delivered, however it was very strange watching myself on television. The trainers involved the whole course throughout, even during the out of course hours in the hotel, where they made themselves available to answer any questions we had, no matter how daft. On a final note all I can think of is Thank You very much for a superb course, can not recommend highly enough to anybody out there involved in teaching/training.

- As with the cuprinol advert, this course does exactly what it says on the tin. The tutors are professional, efficient and support the training material with enthusiasm and good humour. I cannot thank the tutors enough for such thought provoking material and discussion along with the support when I needed it. They even found time to respond to my questions outside the normal working hours. I have been a trainer myself and can understand the work the goes on behind the scenes to produce such a well planned and resourced course. I would recommend this course to anyone, from people like myself, who has been a trainer, to anyone who hasn?t yet had the opportunity.
- Student facilities *****
- The Hotel/venue was very clean with good facilities, the staff approachable and food excellent.
- Social life *****
- The class as a whole really responded to the material and we interacted as a well oiled machine by the end of the course.

- The teachers really made this course accessible to even the most nervous of the group. They are fun and friendly and made everyone feel relaxed and not worried about making fools of themselves. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who feels they need that little extra confidence - be they in education or any other profession.

- We had a class of 12 which was perfect for this type of course. The class was very mixed age-wise but everyone got on very well and really gelled. An extremely supportive atmosphere with interesting people and lots of enthusiasm.

- This course was invaluable. Jackie, the course tutor, was brilliant. The support given was second to none. I found that I really looked forward to Tuesday nights at the college!
- Student facilities *****
- The college is based in an old 60's school... my old school, in fact... therefore, the building does lend itself to learning. The rooms are bright and in a good state of decoration. The college does have out buildings, though I have never used these. The refectory is clean and pleasant and reasonably priced.
- Social life *****
- As I stated, I really enjoyed my time at the college and have made some good friends and business contacts via the course. We all exchanged email addresses on the final day.

- You can work at your own pace and ask for help by email to the tutor if you should need it. The lesson is once a week so email communication is a big help. The teacher has a lot of knowledge and likes to pass his knowledge onto you.

- Course content ****
- Overall it was well worth my doing the cert.ed. I had reached a stagnant stage in my career - doing the the cert.Ed. opened my mind up to theories and issues that i had never investigated before. There were some great tutors, others were less experienced but overall it was a very supportive atmosphere and staff.
- Student facilities ***
- The resources were fine - rooms, IT and library. What else do we need apart from our own partcipation? The classrooms are to be upgraded along with the whole higher education block. They were not the most beautiful rooms but typical of the 1960s/1970s era buildings.
- Social life ***
- the ratio was 50/50 male / female. The classes were not big, 15-20 people , sometimes less. people could meet in the cafe opr classroom before class. It was fine. I did look forward to the classes were generally very cheerful and worked well together. Like any learning in a classroom situation participation is the key. generally we all participated well together.
