    This was a 10-week course as part of TVU's Associate Student Scheme. Each course session was split in two with theory-based work first followed by a practical. The course tutor was truly inspirational and made each session fun - didn't feel like learning at all! We looked at the language of adertising, how to write radio/TV/press ads and looked at loads of examples from current media. Did you know that pyramid teabags were just a marketing ploy and had very little with improving the flavour? Or that salman Rushdie started out as copywriter before moving on to writing novels? No? Nor did i! The course was an interesting dip into the the pool of advertising - a great little starter course before taking the plunge into further study

    Really nice classrooms and lecture theatres. The IT resources are great with PCs and Macs.

    I do look forward to the classes, there's a pretty good mix of people both on the course and in the campus.

    Axcellent classrooms that are very comfortable, a very comprehensive library and great IT resources.

    I really enjoy going to class, there is a good mix of both men and women and there is a really cool bar that is good for socialising in.

    Quite a good course with come very inspiring tutors who give supportive advice. I get so much from this course.

    There are great IT facilities that are very user friendly and helpful for my coursework. The classrooms are pretty good and the lecture theatres are really nice and new.

    There is a great mix of people who are all very friendly. There are about 25 people in each seminar group.

    I found the course very practical in content amd something that directly relates to my job. The course was packed with new information that challenged me to think more creatively and taught me new ideas and information. Great tutors, all from the industry.

    U-shaped setting in the classroom-meant that we could all easily interact with each other and tutors. Air conditioned and modern. Never more than a maximum of 20 people in the class, which meant we got to know each other and the staff well. Very professional and relaxed atmosphere which made learning after work much easier.

    Looked foward to my once weekly class! A great group of like minded people with similar backgrounds to myself. I have made a number of new friends. We are all focused on our careers and moving ahead. I am missing my classes very much now!!

    I found the training fast moving and thought provoking. We were training in all the latest developments affecting the public relations industry. We were diven a huge amount of supportive materials course notes, which I can practically use in reference to my job. The tutors were excellent-very knowledgable in their fields. Course is examination and project based in order to get the diploma.

    Good facilities exist-the course is in the evening, you would come in, take the two hour class and leave at 8.30pm. The convenience of the location is great-its right there as you come out of the station-just what you need. For an evening course lots of detailed notes are provided each week

    I very much looked foward to going to my classes each week. Everyone was pretty friendly and aiming for similar things from the training. They were putting themselves through the training and some had been sponsored by their employers-a good mix of people. Staff were always friendly and helpful. I had about 18 people in my group, which was a good number for a cohesive group.
