Public services courses are designed to make you a more attractive candidate for employment in many of the uniformed public services - Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service, British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Prison Service - and easing the transition between school and the life in the services. In addition you could use your qualification to progress onto Higher Education.
The course presents the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required for a successful career in a range of public Services including the armed and emergency forces. Units will include government and policies, leadership and teamwork, citizenship, discipline, outdoor and adventurous activities and physical preparation.
You will complete six more units to complete the diploma. The units will be agreed with you and cover the requirements from EDEXCEL.
