This course is mainly for school leavers, or anyone wishing to pursue a career in one of the Uniformed Public Services, such as the Police Service, Fire Service, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, Royal Air Force, Prison Service, and UK Border Agency. The course also has links to wider public services such as HM Revenue and Customs and the Ambulance Service.
This course is ideal if you are returning to education or want to train or prepare for employment in the uniformed services such as the police, emergency fire services or armed forces. You will study the following units: public services, public service skills, public service fitness, crime and its effects, sports and recreation.
