- Hi I did this course middle of this year and i enjoyed every bit of it. I wanted to learn photoshop skills and this course did exactly that. Its really for beginners but gets more complex but gives you a great starting and the tutor. I'm now thinking about other multimedia courses but I got my sights on the massage or cooking course, decisions decisions

- I L.U.R.V.E photography. Bruce weber rocks! My all time fab video = pet shop boy's "being boring", beautifully shot by weber! I used to love my Polaroid 1200si. Then for last Christmas I bought a mega groovy digital camera: a mega sexy... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W7 to replace my old pentax slr. but oops, my Sony Cyber-shot is a tad bit complicated and I couldn't suss out the manual overdrive. So I enrolled on a digital photography evening classes @ st martins school of art, london! I hasten to add, st martins runs two related digital photography evening classes: the first session covers shooting photographs using your camera while the second session covers manipulating digital photographs in Photoshop. So please ensure you enrol for the right session! Walking into the building you can't help have a sense of awe... st martins has produced the coolest art talent ever. The tutors @ st martins were inspirational, enthusiastic and v fun. My class mates were a stimulating mixture of cool cats who wanted to use their camera for work and those who just wanted to produce groovy digital images for fun. It was a v fab evening class to take but my only downer was a slight feeling of hi-tech inferiority lol! My class mates all had the hugest-ever, mega expensive digital SLR cameras which dwarfed my almost trailer-trash compact camera. For digital photography evening classes in London.. st martins rocks! Thanks tutors... you were sweeties!

- I was studying for java certification (Sun Certified Java Programmer for Java5) and wanted to get a headstart with my preparations. This course did just that, it gave me a good grounding in all the different topics on the syllabus so that I was confident that I at least knew what I needed to study further. The course was taken as part of the "career acceleration training" package from Sun. It was a five day course on the java language. A programming background was recommended. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made even the complex topics enjoyable. The course was not specifically aimed at certification but the instructor did give advice on certification and also made clear which parts were not on the syllabus (e.g. swing/GUI). It took me 2 more months of further study to be able to take the exam and pass, but that's what the instructor warned us anyway.

- This course was so cheap that I had to choose it over all the others available. I am so glad that I did. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and it has proved so useful that I have been able to help with the redesign of my company's website. Mike (the teacher) was really great and I found the structure of the course to be really easy to follow. They also had the latest Dreamweaver 8 software on their Macs and I was really impressed with all of the facilities. Definately do this course.

- I found it to be extremely riveting and really prepared for whatever the future may hold. One excellent thing about it was that it started from the basics, and meant that everybody started at the same level. I found the tutors to be extremely helpful, and ensured that all questions a student may have were never left unanswered. All in all, I believe that this is a very good and effective course for a person of any computing or business level.

- My name is Jay Boodhun , a Web Developer based in London and now running my own Website. I enrolled for the CIW Foundations taught course option and the Site Designer (with college based tutorials). I spent several weeks looking into the CIW and the various providers before signing up with One ?Tech. The main reason I went with them were that they offered a very flexible, no-frills approach. I got the official course materials and nothing else, which suited me fine because any software you need is available for trial periods anyway, which is all you need to pass the exams. I had come across providers who charge a lot more for the course. As an aside the materials were hand delivered my college staff to my address! When I have needed support the staff have been very friendly, approachable and available. My emails have been answered within 24 hours, and my one to one tutorials were productive (going far beyond the scope of the course material!) I was able to arrange trial exams with 48 hours notice ? which reflects the flexibility that I felt was necessary for my current lifestyle. I have had a very positive experience of One Tech, and should the need arise for further IT training then I will certainly consider using them again. I recommend them without hesitation.

- I've been carrying scruffy photos around in my handbag for years. Just in case someone asked me about my house in Greece. It's a bit of a dilemma as I've acquired a dog and three cats who need looking after when I'm not there. It's not a smart house, so sometimes I need to do a bit of arm-twisting - hence the photographs. When I saw the Dreamweaver course I realised I had my solution. Ten evening sessions that would enable me to build my own website, with possibilities of lots of photos, maps and information too. As a novice to Apple Macs and Dreamweaver I struggled a bit, but the lecturer and other students were always ready to help - they even brushed up my rather lacking colour-sense! I hadn't realised how hard it would be - and this just a level one course. I got into all sorts of trouble along the way, before I learnt the hard way - to plan everything before I hit the mouse! The target was a simple five page website. I managed more than that, with lots of photos and even some of my writing included. I was like a kid when I uploaded it onto one of the free servers, there was such a sense of achievement. I gave my long-suffering friends an even harder time than when I used to pull photos from my bag. Now I can really see the possibilites - I've bought a digital camera and the software for myself - level two here I come! Jacky

- Course content *****
- I completed the advanced course after starting with the introductory intensive course - basically after four saturdays out of my life I now know how to build a pretty decent website! I never knew how much Dreamweaver could do, it blows frontpage out of the water! We covered a large variety of topics, starting with how to define your site. We progressed on to learning the basics of where everything was and then learnt various aspects including cascading style sheets (rather than individually choose the fonts and colours for each page you can set up styles and then use them on all your pages). We also learnt how to make links change colour when you hover over them, how to form templates to work within (if you want to change something on all your pages, you can change it on the master and it will update everything for you). There were many more things covered and our tutor really knew his subject and took all questions fired at him. I learnt a lot, now I just have to put it into practise.
