This course was very well paced. It started off nice and slow to ease you in if you had been out of education for a while but wasn't too slow to loose the interest of the others in the group. When there were things that we didn't understand, the tutors were very helpful and explained things in an easy to understand (but not patronising!) fashion.
The lessons were fun and interactive and everything was related back to the work place, which made everything meaningful.
After this course, there is an Executive Diploma which you could progress onto. However, I decided to study towards the Certificate in Education (also offered at Cornwall College) as part of my job role is teaching. I am now in my second year and can't wait to finish!
Student facilities****
The facilities on offer at Cornwall College are very good. They have a state of the art Learning Centre where you will find all of the books needed for the course. There were always computers available whether I needed it through the day time or in the evening.
The classroom itself wasn't amazing, but did have very comfortable chairs with tables attached to them. They are now extending the building so hopefully by next year the classroom facilities will be fantastic!
Social life*****
The atmosphere in the class was really good. All of the students wanted to be there and wanted to gain the qualification. Everyone was treated like an individual and the tutors were really helpful.
I got on well with all of the other students and even though I finished last year, we still keep in contact with a few of them.

I am enjoying my college experience so much. I am a very mature student. I am learning, having fun and have made over 20 new friends in my first year.
